American Print Products (APP.ink) is a family-owned printing business located in Ozark, Missouri. Beginning in 2005 as American Labels, we focused on serving the ever-changing label industry. Since that time, we have expanded our areas of expertise to include custom apparel and promotional items. Our story is truly an example of the American dream, and we are humbled when we think back on the journey.
Our President, Jeff James, delivered packages to American Labels for years while working for UPS as a package car driver. Jeff and his wife, Jennifer, saw great opportunities in the struggling printing company which led them to purchase it in 2005 when the opportunity presented itself. Jeff left his job at UPS and devoted his full efforts into restructuring and rebuilding American Labels into a label company with two main priorities: customer service and innovation. Over the next 17 years American Labels was blessed with consistent growth and opportunities which helped us to remain on the cutting edge of label manufacturing. In 2022 we expanded our product offerings to include all types of garments and promotional items. With the new technologies came a new name to better represent our capabilities and, thus, American Print Products was born. While the new product lines do allow APP.ink to be a one-stop shop, labels remain the heart of the company. In January of 2024, Dakota James, Jeff and Jennifer’s eldest son, came on staff. Dakota grew up in the print shop watching his dad run the presses and learning the label business from the ground up. He is a graduate of Missouri S&T with a degree in engineering that he puts to work daily. Dakota is an integral part of molding the company to meet the needs of our customers as he continues to drive innovation to meet the future needs of the ever-changing print industry. Even with all the advances and growth over the years, American Print Products has maintained the family-owned business model that is capable and ready to supply you with all your label, apparel, and promotional needs.
